Influenxing is a platform where influencers or creators are paired with the right opportunities i.e. brands and uses influencer marketing as a major marketing strategy. The co-founders of Influenxing, Mr. Farhan Patel and Mr. Omkar Tondawalkar founded this solution due to a problem they personally faced during the time of COVID-19.

The Birth of Influenxing

With the experience of product management in a unicorn startup, Mr. Farhan Patel and Mr. Omkar Tondawalkar, a coding-wizard having a highly technical background who has worked as a tech lead in many companies met each other working together in a company that used to build products to create efficiency through technology.  They came up with their own project- Quarantine to create something that would help people amidst the COVID-19 crisis. Quarantine was a solution that enabled people to reach out to grocery stores to get details about the availability of stock, closing and opening time, etc.

The major problem that the founding duo faced was that they did not have a proper medium to promote their product and reach out to the masses. Mr. Farhan Patel said that, “We found a big gap between creating a solution and marketing it. A big concern for startups is promoting their products/services and finding a marketplace to reach their desired audience”  The first thing that comes to anyone’s mind is social media and social media has the power to tackle both concerns. Additionally, the founders had to face what every influencer might be facing today and so they wanted to come up with a solution that gives creators a head start.

The co-founders also noticed that social media gave rise to influencers who are local celebrities or new age celebrities with their own loyal fan base. They also noticed that most women buy products only after an influencer has recommended them. And with the current influencer marketing space being highly unorganized and traditional, they turned to focus on creating Influenxing.

About the Influenxing App

The Influenxing application is extremely efficient which both influencers and brands can use with ease. Users can create their profile on it and influencers have the flexibility to connect their social media accounts and create a portfolio that will be visible to brands. Brands on the other hand can create specific campaigns and use appropriate filters to define what kind of influencers they are looking for, like age, gender, language, follower count, industry, budget, etc. The company is aimed at providing opportunities for new-age creators and providing convenience to brands by diminishing the use of digital marketing agencies. Although this startup is a solution for both, the emphasis lies on creating opportunities for influencers who are struggling to reach their voice to the masses. This will ultimately, amplify the brand’s voice through influencers and create equal opportunities for them.

The Challenges

The biggest challenge that this startup is facing right now is that the market is unorganized. Standing out and presenting yourself uniquely in a pool of influencers is extremely difficult today. Moreover, the presence of bot accounts and fake followers makes keyword search the worst way to find good influencers. Talented and creative influencers are also sometimes overlooked when using traditional ways to find them for brand promotions. The company wants to create an organized stable platform where the businesses can create campaigns and find the right influencers to promote their products. The influencers will also be benefitted by using analytics and insights to optimize their skill sets and use their creative talent in a better way.

But what makes it stand out is that it is trying to focus on upscaling and helping influencers and creators. With a focus on creating and developing comprehensive technology solutions to track the ROI, performance, and effectiveness of influencer marketing campaigns, the company will harness powers to change the influencer marketing industry. The company wants to come up with new and effective ways to create a shared space for creators where their creative talent is respected and rewarded. They wish to create jobs with proper designations so creators focus their energy on the creative side and not on finding brands to utilize their potential.
