Elon Musk’s X to Compete with LinkedIn in Job Search Ease

Share

Elon Musk’s X, which used to be called Twitter, might let you search for jobs on it soon. This is a step closer to Musk’s big idea of making X an app for everything. Imagine looking for a job on the same app where you read tweets and post updates. That’s what Elon Musk’s X is thinking about. Right now, LinkedIn is the go-to place for job hunting and making professional connections. But Elon Musk’s X wants to give it competition.

Elon Musk, the person behind all this, has a big plan. He wants his X app to be useful for many things, not just one. So, adding a job search feature fits right into this plan. It’s like making X a Swiss Army knife of apps, able to do lots of things in one place. While we don’t know all the details yet, this move is a way for Elon Musk’s X to keep people using it for more stuff. They want you to stay on the app, not just for tweets, but also for finding jobs.

Elon Musk’s X has changed a lot since its start as Twitter. Musk likes to do things that change how we do stuff. Adding job search could be another one of those big changes. It’s like Musk is mixing social media with job-hunting tools. We’ll have to wait and see exactly how this job search feature works. But it’s clear that Elon Musk is trying to make his X app a one-stop shop for everything you might need, from chatting with friends to finding a new job.

Elon Musk has been talking about making a special app called X for a while now. This app would be like a Swiss Army knife, it could do a whole bunch of things in one place. People are saying it’s similar to a popular app in China called WeChat. In WeChat, you can do things like pay for stuff and buy movie tickets, all in one app.

Before, Twitter was mostly for writing short posts. But Elon Musk is changing it into something bigger, step by step. And now, there’s news that, soon, you might be able to search for jobs on this app. Elon Musk’s idea of an ‘everything app’ is similar to what WeChat does in China. It’s like having many tools in one toolbox. And now, Twitter is becoming more like that. First, it was just for quick messages, but now it’s growing into an app that can do lots of different things.

X wants to help people find jobs online, like LinkedIn and Naukri.com do. X might let users search for job openings soon. Before, we heard that verified companies on X could put up job ads. They could list up to five jobs.

Now, news from IANS says that Twitter users might soon get a way to find jobs on the platform. An account called X Daily shared that XHiring is showing job ads. But right now, you can only see these ads on the web and in the US. Chris Bakke, who used to run a job-matching platform that Twitter bought, said they’re working on a way to help people find the right jobs soon.

Twitter has also made some changes recently. They won’t let advertisers promote their accounts on users’ timelines like before. This kind of ad made Twitter a lot of money more than $100 million. Twitter is finding new ways to help advertisers meet their goals.

In the past, there were ads that helped accounts get more followers. These ads put a tweet from an account on users’ timelines, even if they didn’t follow that account. A ‘Follow’ button was there too. These changes show that X (which was called Twitter) is becoming more than just a place for short messages. It’s becoming a place for lots of different things.
