From the last few months you must have seen lots of brand new emotions on your news feed, shared by different people through different pages or apps. This also seen on comments. Actually these emotions are called “Emoji”, it is a Japanese term for the picture characters or emoticons used in Japanese electronic messages and webpages. The characters are used much like emoticons elsewhere, but a wider range is provided.

Actually, it was possible to make these characters by using an app called ‘Emoji Status’, but recently the app was filtered by Facebook. It is not working for me on fb on my PC. Works on mobile, however. On my PC, the entire b/w list of emojis are just those b/w boxes w/ numbers in them like this
