HYPD or HYPD Marketing Technologies is a startup founded in 2020 by Ashwarya Garg and Akshay Bhatnagar. HYPD is a creator tech platform that enables creators to upload content as well as launch their multi-brand stores. The business aims to create a sustainable source of income for creators. The duo wants to put more power into the hands of the creator and they feel that commoditization of business structure can transform their audience into a scalable empire.

About Seed Funding Round

During the first few years, Seed Funding helps a company to generate capital and grow in the market. In seed funding, investors generally get some percent of equity of a company against their funding. It also aids in market research and product development.

In a Seed-Funding Round, HYPD raised $1.5 million (around Rs.11 crores). This round was led by Led Capital, Sauce VC; content creators like Bhuvan Bam, Tanmay Bhat, Ranveer Allahbadia and CXOs of unicorn companies. This funding will be used to activate 1milion content creators and other marketing as well as developmental efforts.

The Indian and Global Influencer market is estimated to be around $75M to $150Mn and over $100B, respectively. This estimate can help us predict and understand the potential this funding will hold in the Indian market. Investments by experienced and popular content-creators and influencers may increase the credibility of this investment. These creators will also help bring forward general issues and problems faced by them.

According to Inc42, the round also saw participation from industry experts and founders, Joyance Partners, LetsVenture, Dr. Ritesh Malik (Founder, Innov8), Aditya Sehgal (ex-President Rickett), Harish Narayan (CMO, Myntra), Nadeesh Ramachandran (Head of Performance Marketing, Google), Shantanu Deshpande (Bombay Shaving Company), Revant Bhate (CEO, Mosaic Wellness), Harshil Mathur & Shashank Kumar (Razorpay), Rohan & Uday (Epigamia).

A team of industry experts will help HYPD to improve its Go-To-Market strategies.
