At times almost everyone wishes that they could use WhatsApp on two different phones at the same time. So, now WhatsApp has finally rolled out a new feature after hearing about this. The new amazing update has a feature where you could use the app on two different smartphones. You can link any WhatsApp account on your smartphone like you used to on a computer or laptop. Android Authority reported that WhatsApp has reportedly rolled out a new WhatsApp beta version 2.22.25.8 for Android as well as Android tablets. The feature allows you to scan the QR code on the tablet version of the app when you start setting it up. You need to open the same WhatsApp account, however, you will need to follow the same process on your Android smartphone.

How would you link another phone to the same Whatsapp account?

  1. The version is the latest one, so make sure you have the latest version or download that right away on both mobile devices.
  2. Open your second device, unlock WhatsApp, and tap “agree and continue.”
  3. Open the Menu from the three vertical dots in the top right corner. This appears on the top right-hand side.
  4. Tap “link a device.”
  5. Go to your primary phone, open WhatsApp, and tap beside the three vertical dots in the top right corner.
  6. Tap on “Linked devices.”
  7. Then tap on “Link a device.”
  8. Scan the QR Code that is displayed on the secondary phone.
  9. Synching of messages begins, and your secondary phone is ready to use.
  10. You are removing the WhatsApp account from your secondary phone.
  11. Open WhatsApp on your PRIMARY phone.
  12. Tap on “Linked devices.”
  13. Tap on your primary phone and select “Log out.”
  14. Your secondary phone would remove the WhatsApp account.

The WhatsApp service got better after a Meta-verse kicked into effect. Now that Facebook and WhatsApp are under the same umbrella, WhatsApp has decided to allow the same WhatsApp account on two different phones, like how you log onto the account from your phone and link it to another device like your computer. Earlier, WhatsApp allowed a link to a computer but didn’t allow you to link to another phone, like Telegram. WhatsApp did allow you to link four computers but only one phone.
