Can you tell us a little bit about you and your background?
My name is Kouser Dharmavaram, and I was born on October 29, 1991, and raised in ATP. I hold a PG Degree in M.Com (MIB) from Bangalore University and began my career as an HR in Bangalore, Karnataka, in 2015. After working for three years, I joined ITC INFOTECH to gain exposure to the culture of an MNC company and advance my career as an HR executive. When I noticed a shortage of affordable luxury gifting options in the market, I was inspired to create a company that would provide unique and personalized gifts at reasonable prices. This led me to establish Flohaan in 2022. At Flohaan, we differentiate ourselves from other luxury gifting companies by providing customized surprise gift experiences that are tailored to the recipient’s interests and preferences.
What inspired you to start a luxury gifting business?
The idea for Flohaan came from my personal experiences with gifting and the joy it brings to both the giver and receiver.
