According to reports, Microsoft is in talks with the artificial intelligence bot’s creator OpenAI for a massive 10 billion dollar infusion. Sources say the proposal envisions Microsoft investing the amount over multiple years. The investment is likely to value OpenAI at about 29 billion dollars. OpenAI, the organization behind it, is co-founded by Elon Musk and Silicon Valley investor Sam Altman and makes money by charging developers to license its technology.
Reportedly, Microsoft will get a 75% share of OpenAI’s profits until it makes back the money on its investment, after which the company would assume a 49% stake in OpenAI.
Semafor reported Tuesday that the deal is part of a funding round with other investors involved that would value OpenAI at a whopping $29 billion.

Infosys made a hidden investment in ChatGPT which is a product of artificial intelligence company OpenAI in 2015. Infosys Vishal Sikka had mentioned in a blog post in 2015.
