Voice deepfake: How to avoid getting scammed

Imagine returning home tired after a long and hard day to a phone call from your friend or relative asking you for money. Have you ever thought if it is real or fake? There are scammers around who are using voice deepfake programs to mimic anyone and are asking out for money. Not one, but there are multiple complaints about this issue and people are actually facing problems because of it. The scammers are doing this without leaving any traces behind. Many of them are so clean in mimicking that people believe whatever they are hearing is very genuine.

What is Voice Deepfake?

A voice deepfake is an artificial audio recording specially created using advanced machine learning techniques, such as deep learning algorithms, that can mimic someone else’s voice to a high degree of accuracy. The term “deepfake” is derived from the use of deep neural networks to manipulate or create digital media, in this case, voice recordings.

Voice deepfakes can be used to impersonate individuals, making them say things they did not say or making it appear as though they said something in a different tone or context. This technology has raised alerts about its potential to be used for malicious purposes, such as spreading fake information, defaming individuals, or impersonating someone’s identity. On the positive side, voice deepfakes can also have practical applications, such as in speech synthesis for people who have lost their voice or have difficulty speaking. Overall, the technology has both positive and negative implications and it is important to be aware of its potential uses and misuse. It can be used for good and bad purposes as well. But, mainly there is the only news that evil minds are using it for fraud purposes.

There are several ways in which someone can use voice-deepfake technology to scam others. Here are a few examples:

1. Impersonation of authority figures

Scammers can use voice deepfake technology to mimic the voice of someone in a position of authority, such as a CEO, government official, or law enforcement officer. They can then use this fake voice to convince their target to take some action that benefits the scammer, such as providing personal information or transferring money.

2. Social engineering

Scammers can use voice deepfake technology for creating fake recordings of your near ones, making it sound like they are distressed or in a need of urgent help. The scammer can then use this fake recording to convince the target to transfer money or take some other action to help the person in distress.

3. Spoofing phone numbers

Scammers can use voice deepfake technology to mimic the voice of a target’s family member or friend, and then use spoofing techniques to make it look like the call is coming from that person’s phone number. The scammer can then use this fake voice to trick the target into providing personal information or sending money.

4. Business scams

Scammers might use voice deepfake technology to impersonate a company representative, such as a customer service agent or a financial advisor. They can then use this fake voice to trick customers into providing sensitive information or making fraudulent transactions.

Overall, voice deepfake technology can be used to create convincing scams that trick people into taking actions that benefit the scammer. It is important to be cautious and verify the authenticity of any requests or phone calls that seem suspicious.

How to avoid getting scammed by Voice Deepfake scammers?

Here are some tips to help you avoid getting scammed by voice deepfake scammers:

1. Be cautious of unsolicited phone calls

If you receive a phone call from an unknown number, be cautious of the information that you provide. Scammers may use voice deepfake technology to impersonate someone you know or a company representative, so it is important to verify the authenticity of the caller and their request before providing any personal information or money.

2. Verify the caller’s identity

If the caller claims to be a company representative or someone you know, ask for their name, department, and phone number, and then verify their identity with the company or person in question. Do not rely solely on the information provided by the caller.

3. Do not provide personal information

Be cautious of providing any personal information, such as your social security number, bank account details, or credit card information, to a caller you do not know or trust.

4. Hang up and call back

If you receive a suspicious phone call, hang up and call back using a phone number that you know is legitimate. This will help you verify the authenticity of the caller and their request.

5. Use two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication is a security feature that requires you to provide two forms of identification before accessing your account. This can help protect your accounts from unauthorized access, even if a scammer has your personal information.

6. Use anti-spoofing tools

Some phone companies and mobile apps offer anti-spoofing tools that can help detect and block calls from spoofed phone numbers.

It is important to be cautious and verify the authenticity of any phone calls or requests that seem suspicious. If you are unsure, it is better to err on the side of caution and not provide any personal information or money.

The case reported of voice deepfakes is serious and also got viral

The CEO of an unnamed UK-based energy firm claims that he was on the phone with his boss, the chief executive of firm’s the German parent company when he followed the orders to immediately transfer €220,000 (approx. $243,000) to the bank account of a Hungarian supplier. In fact, the voice belonged to a scammer using AI voice technology to rob the German chief executive. Rüdiger Kirsch of Euler Hermes Group SA, the firm’s insurance company, shared the information with WSJ. He explained that the CEO recognized the subtle German accent in his boss’s voice, and moreover that it carried the man’s “melody.”

No suspects have been identified, and little is known about what software they used or how they gathered the voice data necessary to spoof the German executive—but this case reveals one of the many possible ways machine learning can be weaponized.

ChatGPT: A Potential Tool for Early Detection of Alzheimer’s Disease

Chatbots powered by artificial intelligence (AI) are quickly gaining traction in the field of healthcare as a result of the personalized and efficient support they offer to patients. Recent research has shown that chatbots like ChatGPT, which are powered by artificial intelligence, can play an important role in the early identification of Alzheimer’s disease.

Alzheimer’s disease & its symptoms

Alzheimer’s disease is a degenerative brain condition that has a negative impact on many aspects of a person’s functioning, including memory, cognition, and behaviour. Researchers have hypothesised that a combination of genetics, environmental factors, and lifestyle choices are to blame for Alzheimer’s disease, despite the fact that the exact cause of the disease is still unknown.

Getting older, having a family history of Alzheimer’s disease, having a head injury, having heart disease, having high blood pressure, or not leading a healthy lifestyle by engaging in activities such as smoking, drinking too much alcohol, or not getting enough exercise all increase the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease. Other risk factors include a head injury, having high blood pressure, having heart disease, or having high blood pressure.

Although the symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease might vary from person to person, the following are some of the most common ones:

  1. The inability to remember things, which results in the necessity for memory aides and the repetition of questions or dialogues.

2. Problems with language and communication, such as finding words difficult, forgetting basic words, or having a hard time keeping up with conversations

3. Having trouble planning and solving problems, as well as having trouble with ordinary tasks such as cooking, managing money, or following directions.

4. Reading, determining distance, and accurately seeing colour and contrast are all activities that a person with visual impairments may have difficulty performing.

5. Alterations in mood and personality, such as increased anxiousness, agitation, or despair, or a newly discovered lack of interest in activities that were previously gratifying.

6. Have difficulty retrieving objects that have been dropped because they have been placed in a spot that is not immediately visible.

These symptoms are not going to be present in everyone who has Alzheimer’s disease, and vice versa. However, if you or a loved one are experiencing any of these symptoms, it is imperative that you speak with a qualified medical expert to receive a diagnosis and formulate a treatment strategy.

Alzheimer’s disease is a debilitating condition, but it is one that may be controlled and its progression halted if it is identified and treated in its early stages.

In what ways might chatgpt be used to identify Alzheimer’s disease in its earliest stages?

Memory loss, cognitive decline, and behavioural shifts are all symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease, which is a neurodegenerative condition that affects the brain. The disease affects millions of people all over the world, and getting an accurate diagnosis as soon as possible is critical to having a positive outcome from therapy and effectively managing the sickness.

Chatbots such as ChatGPT, which are driven by machine learning algorithms, have the potential to analyse language patterns and detect changes in a person’s speech that may indicate cognitive decline. It is possible that the chatbot will collect and analyse data on the patients’ speech patterns, including vocabulary, grammar, and coherence, in order to identify early signs of Alzheimer’s disease. These discussions will be conducted in patients’ natural language.

AI-powered chatbots have been shown to be effective in the early phases of Alzheimer’s disease detection, as demonstrated by a study that was recently published in the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease. The investigation included 52 people, 27 of whom had been identified as having mild cognitive impairment, a condition that frequently comes in the wake of a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease. The average length of time that the participants spent interacting in natural language with an AI-powered chatbot was 4.5 minutes.

According to the findings of the study, the chatbot had an accuracy of 92.1% when it came to identifying early signs of cognitive impairment in study participants who had mild cognitive impairment. The chatbot picked up on early signs of cognitive decline in the participants’ speech, including changes in vocabulary, syntax, and coherence. These changes are indicative of cognitive decline.

It is possible that the use of AI-powered chatbots like ChatGPT, which have the capacity to detect Alzheimer’s disease in its early stages, would significantly improve both the diagnosis and treatment of the disorder. The utilisation of chatbots may provide a method that is non-invasive, low-cost, and easily accessible for the early diagnosis of cognitive impairment. This may result in improved patient outcomes and decreased costs associated with healthcare.

However, it is essential to emphasise that traditional methods of diagnosis, such as cognitive examinations, imaging tests, and medical history evaluations, should not be replaced by chatbots. This is because chatbots are not yet reliable enough to make such a claim. Alternately, chatbots could serve as a supplementary tool for the early diagnosis and ongoing monitoring of cognitive decline.

In conclusion, chatbots that are powered by artificial intelligence, such as ChatGPT, might play an important part in identifying the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease. It is possible that in the not-too-distant future, chatbots will become an indispensable component of the healthcare system. They will be able to provide individualized and effective assistance to patients while also improving the standard of care for those who suffer from cognitive impairments.

AllesHealth: Helping People Manage Their Health Better and Getting Health Rewards through Health Data

AllesHealth’s foundation is laid by Sundeep Gaba, a veteran in the Healthcare industry and an expert within HealthTech. He always wanted to provide better Healthcare access for Patients and Carers and believed in the potential of Health Data and Clinical Insights. This led to the conception of AllesHealth. In an exclusive interview with sociobits, he shared what made him give AllesHealth a start and shared his experience as a founder. He shared his entrepreneurial experience which is worth a read. His idea of merging tech with the Clinical field will surely result in a revolution that will change people’s perspective towards their own and their family’s healthcare management.

Let’s listen to the entire story of why Mr Sundeep Gaba, who is working on building AllesHealth – a HealthTech start-up into a sustainable company.

Who is Sundeep Gaba? A brief about him

Sundeep has spent almost 1½  decades within Healthcare. He is an entrepreneur, a CEO, a Patient Advocate, a sports enthusiast, a son, a husband and a father of 2 amazing kids. He is driven to provide Patients and Carers a stronger voice in the Healthcare Ecosystem. As the CEO of AllesHealth, he is focussed on building a company that can truly help patients and carers in better management of the entire family’s health on a daily basis.

What is AllesHealth?

It’s a Health tech company, focussed on empowering patients & carer and helping them to manage their health better through clinical insights. AllesHealth provides a platform for patients that helps them proactively manage their health. AllesHealth analyzes patients’ own Health records, and provides them with clinical insights for patients to understand their disease better and also get proven recommendations on how to better manage their Health.

AllesHealth also very well understands the role of Carer’s within the Healthcare ecosystem and what each one of them goes through. AllesHealth makes it easier for carers to manage the health of their entire family. Patients and Carers own their health data and with AllesHealth their data is available at their fingertips and completely secured. Patients can further share their data for cases such as 2nd Opinion or moving to a different hospital or clinic.

What founder has to say

Every time we heard a story of misdiagnosis, late diagnosis or mistreatment, it pained us to see how laggard our Healthcare industry has been so far in terms of Digitalization and how helpless patients feel during their treatment.

Every time we heard the story that patient data is shared across the spectrum, without any knowledge to the patient, it made us question the ethics.

Every time we experienced helplessness as patients, when they had to choose what is best for their family, it made us question, what can we do to make life simpler for Patients and Carers.

In India, there is a lack of trust in Healthcare, where Hospitals are charging like a 5-star hotel, it’s the patients and carers who are suffering and a huge part of that is because Patients do not have the right information.

What laid the foundation of AllesHealth?

There were two major instances that have really triggered the foundation of AllesHealth for me.

Firstly, it was the birth of my second child. He was born in Switzerland, where we have one of the best Healthcare systems available. When he was born, we had to go through quite a lot of visits to the hospital due to an issue with his Heart Development. He is well and healthy and makes our lives joyful. But that gave me an indication of a carer’s view where I wanted to get more clinical insights about what’s really happening with my son. Clinicians couldn’t tell us much and still we are in the process of continued visits.

Second was quite recently when my mother was diagnosed with a disease that I wouldn’t divulge too much into. But there again, as a carer, sitting remotely in Switzerland, away from her, made me feel helpless as I really would like to get more insights on her health and disease progression. She has gone through multiple Lab tests, some of them a few times within a short period and yet there has been no clinical diagnosis. Till today I am constantly worried and lacking information.

With my background in Healthcare whilst working for one of the biggest Healthcare companies, I’ve also seen the power of healthcare analytics and what this can do. And yeah, so somehow the need became even more prominent. And as somebody who constantly vouches for patients’ interest and carer’s interests, I decided to found AllesHealth, so that we can help Patients and Carers all over the world.

What are your future goals?

”Our goal is to help 50 million patients & carers by 2026.”

This will happen in a few stages.

Firstly we will launch AllesHealth in India, which is going to be a Mobile app for patients and carers, through which they can upload their Health records by simply clicking an image. They can bring their health records into the platform, get clinical insights that are relevant for them, and get predictive analysis on the disease progression over a period of time once we have a large amount of data to analyze with.

And we believe more insights help patients to better manage their health. And that’s something that AllesHealth can provide.

With continuous disease monitoring and with our proprietary prediction modeling, we can provide recommendations on what to do and open avenues for better Healthcare access for Patients and Carers.

In addition to that, we are also launching our platform with health rewards for patients, which they can leverage at our partnered hospitals and clinics once AllesHealth is launched in India. We believe once patients get access to different areas within health care and it’s transparent to them, it creates TRUST. And something that we all had our challenges with when we deal with health care systems, specifically in India, I would say, but also in different parts of the world. As somebody who’s been working in health care for close to a decade and a half at another multinational company, I could say that there is a genuine issue of trust in healthcare, and that’s where different technologies can help us, like AI, blockchain, and Web 3.0. These are ways for us to get better benefits and create trust for patients and carers within the healthcare ecosystem.

Is Artificial Intelligence in health tech helpful?

Definitely, it helps tremendously. We have seen the progress of AI over a period of time. We see constant progress in multiple sectors and healthcare is no different. In fact, our own company, AllesHealth, is working on AI algorithms to generate insights and predictive analysis that will help patients and carers based on their clinical records. So it’s something that I fundamentally believe that is going to help. But the adoption on the patient and carer end should not be about whether we are using AI or not, it’s about what value it brings because AI is an enabler. But as a tech, there is a huge potential there. In fact, it’s being used day in, day out and sometimes we don’t even realize it but it’s under the hood.

How does AllesHealth differ from the market’s other players?

So there are definitely a lot of patient records management platforms out there. Many are focussing on working towards the benefits of Doctors and Hospitals. We are different because AllesHealth looks at it from a Patient’s and a Carer’s view. Our viewpoint is that we want to be the digital partner for patients and carers.

And as a carer, we may have family members who constantly fall sick, or maybe we are living in a different city and remotely caring for our aging parents. Carer will get the information they need based on the clinical analysis of Health data.

AllesHealth is different as we offer health rewards for patients. So we are building an ecosystem where patients would benefit by sharing their own health data, which I believe not many companies are looking into. And yeah, as I said, our primary focus will always be Patient and Carers. AllesHealth will be truly a patient-centric solution.

When can we expect AllesHealth to Launch in India?

So we are all working very hard for AllesHealth Health to be ready for patients and carers this year, and we are expecting it to be launched in Q2, possibly in May or June timeframe this year.

We believe the modern world needs this. We believe healthcare integration with technology in this changing world would be very beneficial for everyone involved. India as a country has very few doctors and nursing staff in terms of Per capita allocation, so platforms like AllesHealth help Government, Insurance companies, Hospitals, Pharma companies and all other stakeholders to provide better and trustworthy care for Patients and Carers. AllesHealth has the goal and potential to help a lot of Patients and will change their way of looking at Healthcare and their way of health management.

21 applications of NFTs you wish you already knew (Part 2)

This is part 2 of a two-part post outlining 21 different applications of NFTs that are so surprising you wish you knew already.

If you haven’t read part 1, please read that before you commence reading this post.

.

.

.

Now that you’ve read the first part. let’s move on to the second set of applications for NFTs!

More applications of NFTs

TV Shows – Did you know that the founder of Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin stars in a TV Show with Hollywood stars including Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis?! This show is called Stoner cats!! And guess what, this show in itself is an NFT!! That’s right, a new format of media distribution. You can buy the show’s NFT on Opensea at the auctioned price, which gives you access to watch this show. If it becomes famous, you can auction your NFT for a higher price and even make a sweet gain!

Lottery tickets – How would you think NFT Lottery tickets work? It’s pretty simple really. Buy an NFT ticket which is stored in your wallet. It’s easy to verify with your wallet as well! If you win, the prize money is easily transferred to your wallet. Mint a total number of identical tickets. You have the addresses of all the ticket buyers as the transactions are public. A whole stack of tickets can look the same, all except the lucky ticket – which is easily traceable to the winning wallet. Lucky Block is a decentralized gaming platform built on the Binance Smart Chain. The platform’s primary focus is to create a fair and transparent lottery system using blockchain technology.

Restaurants – Yes, even restaurants are wanting a piece of the NFT pie! A restaurant called Flyfishclub announced that they are launching a branch in Manhattan as the ‘First NFT Restaurant’. Created by entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk, FlyfishClub is a member-only exclusive restaurant where membership can be bought on the blockchain. You need to be a Flyfish NFT holder to enter and access the restaurant. Limited Flyfish NFTs make this an exclusive location

Sports memorabilia – NFTs are being used to authenticate sports memorabilia, allowing fans to own a piece of their favorite team’s history. Memorabilia including autographs, trophies, and awards can also be brought on-chain as NFTs. AirNFTs has created an NFT marketplace for this very purpose! You can buy/sell/trade cards, posters, memorabilia, and other collectibles of your favorite sportsmen and women here!

Virtual Fashion – Nike has created digital versions of their upcoming designs as NFTs and auctioned them on an NFT marketplace first. Once this NFT is traded on the secondary market, the final owner of the NFT sneaker gets its real version. It announced the acquisition of RTFKTstudios, a virtual sneaker company that creates NFT sneakers, which Nike calls ‘CryptoKicks‘. When you buy a pair of the “CryptoKicks,” you’ll also receive a digital asset attached to a unique identifier of that shoe. This would give them an idea of the popularity and consumer asking price for the sneaker before it’s ever made! And trading in the secondary market will also bump up its prices, giving Nike a sweet profit as well!

Virtual pets – NFTs are being used to create and sell virtual pets, allowing owners to collect and trade unique creatures. If you’ve followed NFTs for a while now, you must have heard of Cryptokitties. They are one of the world’s first blockchain games where you get to breed your rarest cats to create the purrfect furry friend. We also have Digital Dogs which says they are launching AI-driven 3D digital dogs as companions for the metaverse.

Luxury goods – NFTs are being used to represent ownership of luxury goods, such as designer handbags and jewelry, providing a way to verify authenticity. Today there are multiple brands including Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Jimmy Choo, and others who are embracing the luxury NFT world as an additional source of revenue. For many, luxury items are symbolic of wealth and status in similar ways that many NFTs are perceived today. With that, it shouldn’t be a surprise that luxury brands would embrace the new NFT medium.

In-game items – Recently, the gaming industry has also embraced NFTs in quite a wonderful way. For example, blockchain games such as Axe Infinity have created NFTs as in-game purchases. Suppose you want an upgrade for your character, maybe some new armor, or new weapons. You can now buy them using cryptocurrency where each of these items is created as unique NFTs. This way, each item you purchase is unique to you and can be traded with other players online as well!

Carbon credits – Carbon credits are arguably the best financial mechanism existing to accelerate the flow of capital to environmentally friendly projects and entities. NFTs are being used to represent ownership of carbon credits, providing a way to track and trade carbon emissions. MintCarbon makes it easy for carbon credit holders to tell their story to the world while onboarding their carbon credits to the blockchain where they can be tracked, traded, and retired seamlessly.

Charity Donations – Donations powered by the blockchain provide an ecosystem for nonprofits and charities to fundraise Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, be found by crypto donors, receive funds instantly and become part of a network of crypto media partners to support their missions. Companies such as The Giving Block facilitate crypto donations and also mint NFTs used to represent charitable donations, allowing donors to track the impact of their contributions.

Product Tracking – NFTs are being used to track the provenance of physical products, providing a way to verify the authenticity and ethical sourcing. Companies like Walmart have embraced blockchain technology in using NFTs to track these metrics for their products sold on the platforms. For example, if a digital token is created for every apple they sell at their counter, customers can just scan the digital token on their phone to find out where this apple was grown, and who the middlemen involved in sourcing this apple from the farm to this counter are. Furthermore, any bad batch of essentials or perishables can easily be traced back to the source which reduces confusion and helps bring a lot of clarity to the process.

These are just a few examples of the many ways in which NFTs are being used today. As technology continues to evolve, we can expect to see even more innovative applications in the future.

The future of NFTs is bright?

The applications of NFTs are vast and varied, ranging from digital art and virtual real estate to music rights, sports memorabilia, and product provenance. NFTs have opened up new opportunities for creators, collectors, and investors, and have the potential to revolutionize many industries.

With the increasing adoption of blockchain technology, NFTs are poised to become even more prevalent in the years to come. As the technology continues to evolve and new use cases emerge, the potential of NFTs is truly limitless.

Whether you are an artist, collector, or investor, NFTs offer a unique and exciting way to engage with the digital world and monetize your assets.

If you want to know more about any of the above use cases in detail, let me know in the comments section and we can share a dedicated post for it!

5 Skills you no longer need to learn as AI is doing it better

In the last few months, AI has developed a lot, especially after the launch of ChatGPT. Technology is upgrading every minute. Artificial intelligence has almost taken over many jobs already and we believe it does those better. It also saves time and moreover, it seems to be delivered by some professionals. People do not need to spend anything extra on hiring people for those work now. Even people who have mastered those skills are using AI for saving time and are getting fruitful results.

The advancement of artificial intelligence has revolutionized the way we live and work. It has strongly impacted our ability to perform tasks and has even made some jobs obsolete. As AI continues to develop, there are a few skills that are no longer necessary to learn. These skills are being replaced by AI tools and technologies that are more efficient, accurate, and reliable. In this era of AI, it is important to recognize the skills that are becoming irrelevant and to focus on acquiring new skills that can enhance our ability to work with and alongside AI.

5 Skills that you no longer need as AI is helping

1. Writing

Artificial intelligence is helping in writing simple reports, emails, and basic content within a few clicks. You just need to prompt your expectations and chatbots will deliver the outputs within a few seconds. As AI language capabilities advance, it will augment human jobs in writing by summarizing information, making suggestions, and brainstorming ideas. Some people are even making extra money by using AI to write and sell different kinds of books and content on Amazon.

Today, many industries have started accepting the revolution and have started using AI for content-generating purposes. In fact, one Japanese company has already developed an AI system that can write novels better than humans. Of course, it will be some time before AI writing becomes good enough to completely replace human writers across all genres and formats.

2. Data entry

Don’t waste hours pointing and clicking, copying and pasting as now, AI lets you automate the data entry process. The traditional ways of the data entry process were a lot time-consuming, was high costing and the rate of error was high. As the amount of data got increased, misinterpretation of data got increased. This led to poor quality control, resulting in no focus on core business talks.

Adapting to digital transformation and providing smart solutions to businesses in the form of compelling and innovative methods of data entry, smart technologies and accelerating the data collection and entry methods are disrupting the data entry industry by using AI.

3. Art design

Artificial intelligence-powered tools have reduced manual designing work. There are various AI programs available that are quick and very efficient. There are even programs that convert text into art. You just have to describe what details you require in the artwork and the program by itself generates a piece of artwork that matches your expectations.

Dall E by OpenAI is one of the trending tools available on the internet. It is said that it generates realistic artwork. People have now started selling AI Art and have started earning by using it.

Making a piece of artwork is difficult and moreover, it is very time-consuming. AI art tools help generate artwork without any errors, and they also deliver quality content. Whether you need original images for your business, or just want to have fun getting creative, there are a lot of Art generating tools availale.

4. Video editing

AI-powered editing tools can assist people with no experience in editing by automatically selecting and assembling the best shots, adding transitions, and adjusting audio levels. It can also assist with tasks such as image retouching, video stabilisation, and colour correction. AI tools can also generate previews, making it easier for users to visualise their final product. Artificial intelligence (AI) video editing tools are becoming increasingly popular as they offer several advantages over traditional editing software. Especially given that social media trends favour video.

AI video editing tools can automatically identify and correct errors in video footage. This can save a lot of time and effort for editors, as they no longer need to check and fix errors manually. AI video editing tools can also provide suggestions for how to improve the overall quality of the video. This can be particularly useful for beginners who may not be familiar with all the different aspects of video editing.

5. Data analysing

AI can analyse vast amounts of data quickly, identifying patterns and insights that humans may misinterpret or miss entirely, which arguably leads to better decision-making. Artificial intelligence examines massive amounts of data to find trends and patterns that can be used to derive insights for improving business processes. AI also helps streamline data analysis by funnelling all data into one solution, enabling users to have a complete overview of the data.

Data analytics and AI capabilities have become more widespread and apply to business operations like marketing and supply. Artificial intelligence can help enterprises automate, simplify, and speed up the data preparation, and insight generation process. AI/ML algorithms can automatically analyse large volumes of streaming data, quickly identify patterns, and generate insights for meaningful action.

AI has undoubtedly revolutionized various industries by automating tasks and processes that were once solely done by humans. As AI technology advances, it’s becoming more apparent that there are certain skills that we don’t necessarily need to learn as AI can perform them better and more efficiently than humans. This doesn’t necessarily mean that we should stop learning those skills altogether, but rather, we should focus on developing and honing skills that require human intelligence, creativity, and empathy, which are still valuable and irreplaceable by AI. By embracing the potential of AI and leveraging its capabilities, we can free up more time and resources to focus on higher-level tasks that require a more human touch.

The Importance of an LLC Operating Agreement: Protecting Your Business and Your Future

Having a well-crafted operating agreement is essential for any business entity, but especially important for businesses organized as limited liability companies (LLCs). Not only does it protect the LLC’s owners from personal liability in case of financial difficulty or litigation, it also promotes transparency and trust between business partners.

An operating agreement can help to ensure that all parties involved are on the same page about how the company will be managed and operated.

In short, having an LLC operating agreement is key to protecting your business and its future success.

What Is An LLC Operating Agreement?

An LLC Operating Agreement is a legal document that outlines the operating procedures of an LLC.

It is similar to corporation bylaws or partnership agreements, and it defines how the members will manage their business and divide profits and losses.

The Operating Agreement allows for the smooth operation of the business, as well as protects each member from any liability due to the actions of the other members.

The Operating Agreement also outlines the rights and responsibilities of each member and is crucial to avoiding disputes between members, as well as protecting the LLC from lawsuits.

It serves as a reference point for state regulations and how they apply to your specific business structure.

Lastly, having an LLC Operating Agreement in place helps ensure that the LLC is meeting all applicable laws, so that it can remain in good standing.

Why Do You Need an LLC Operating Agreement

An LLC operating agreement governs the relationships between the members and managers, as well as the responsibilities each has to maintain the business.

This agreement is important because it helps protect your rights and interests while running your business.

Without an operating agreement in place, your LLC will be held to the laws of the state in which it is registered.

This means that all members of the LLC will have equal rights and responsibilities regardless of how much or how little money each member has invested in the company.

With an operating agreement, you can customize your ownership structure and give different levels of control and responsibilities to each member.

An LLC operating agreement can also help protect you from personal liability if the business is ever sued or experiences financial difficulties.

It spells out who is responsible for maintaining the company’s finances and other operations, as well as what each member’s responsibilities are in such a situation.

With an operating agreement in place, it is much easier to determine who owns what, and who is responsible for various liabilities.

Finally, an LLC operating agreement can provide a sense of security and stability for your business.

It outlines the rights and responsibilities of each member ahead of time, allowing them to better anticipate any potential conflicts that may arise in the future.

This provides all members with the confidence that their investments and interests will be protected if anything were to go wrong.

What Should Be Included in an LLC Operating Agreement

An LLC operating agreement defines how the business will be managed, how profits and losses will be divided among the members, how disputes will be resolved, and more.

While not required by law in most states, having an operating agreement is essential for protecting your business and your members’ interests.

An LLC operating agreement should clearly define the roles, responsibilities, and expectations of each member.

This can include details about how decisions will be made, what profits or losses each member is entitled to, how voting on matters will happen, and other important aspects of running the business.

It is also essential for addressing potential disputes and outlining member exit strategies in the event of a disagreement.

It is important to include provisions for allocating capital contributions, assigning management roles, determining how profits or losses will be allocated, establishing rules for decision-making, and setting expectations around members’ obligations and responsibilities.

An operating agreement should also contain clauses on how changes to the agreement can be made, how members can exit the LLC, and how disputes will be resolved.

In addition to these provisions, an operating agreement should include details about accounting procedures, tax obligations, how assets are handled in the event of dissolution or death of a member’s interest in the LLC, and other relevant issues.

This document should be tailored to fit the specific needs of your LLC and all members should thoroughly review it before signing.

Phishing Attacks in the Age of Remote Work: Latest Trends and Prevention Strategies

0

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced millions of people to shift to a remote working environment and as a result, cybercriminals have seen an opportunity. Phishing attacks are on the rise due to the increased reliance on digital communication and collaboration tools.

Cyber criminals are taking advantage of this new normal by targeting unsuspecting employees with malicious emails that can cause serious damage if not caught in time.

It is essential that organizations understand these threats so they can protect themselves against them and continue to run their businesses securely in today’s digital world.

What is Phishing

Phishing is a type of cyberattack carried out through email, text messages, and other types of communication.

The purpose of the attack is to get users to click on malicious links or download malicious attachments that give hackers access to sensitive information such as passwords, payment card details and more.

Phishing attacks are increasingly common in the age of remote work where employees are more likely to be accessing company networks from home.

Phishing attacks can be dangerous because they are designed to trick even the most vigilant users into revealing their confidential data.

The attackers use a variety of methods such as spoofing emails and texts, making them appear like they come from legitimate sources.

They also  use social engineering techniques to try and increase their chance of success, such as creating convincing stories or fake customer service calls.

Once the attackers have access to the victim’s data, it can be used for malicious purposes like identity theft, financial gain or even espionage.

Types of Phishing Attacks

Phishing attacks come in several different types, depending on the method used to obtain sensitive information.

The most common type of phishing attack is an email-based attack, where a malicious actor sends an email purporting to be from a legitimate company or organization with a link that directs users to a fake website.

This site typically asks the user to input sensitive information, such as bank account numbers or passwords.

Other types of phishing attacks include social media-based attacks, where a malicious actor creates an account posing as a legitimate company and posts links in the comments section of other users’ posts; SMS-based (or “smishing”) attacks, which are sent via SMS text messages; and spear phishing attacks, which target specific individuals or organizations.

All of these types of phishing attacks have one goal in common: to obtain sensitive information from unsuspecting victims.

To protect yourself from these kinds of attacks, be sure to verify the source before providing any personal information, do not click on suspicious links, and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities.

Latest Trends in Phishing Attacks

Phishing attacks have become increasingly sophisticated over the years, with attackers continually adapting and improving their methods in order to take advantage of new technologies and vulnerabilities.

Here are some of the more popular trends in phishing attacks:

Social engineering tactics

Attackers will create fake websites, emails, or social media profiles to lure victims into providing personal information or downloading malicious software.

Attackers will also use phishing kits, which are pre-crafted tools that can be used to quickly launch a phishing campaign and increase the chances of success.

Ransomware

Ransomware is a type of malware that takes over a computer system or network and demands payment in order to restore access.

In some cases, attackers will use phishing techniques to spread ransomware, sending malicious emails or websites that contain a link to download the malware.

Spear phishing

This type of attack targets specific individuals or organizations with customized messages designed to trick victims into providing confidential information or downloading malicious software.

Attackers will often research potential targets in order to create personalized messages that appear credible and increase the chances of success.

Mobile devices

Finally, attackers are increasingly using mobile devices as a platform for phishing attacks. Mobile devices offer attackers greater flexibility and portability than traditional desktop computers, making them ideal for launching targeted attacks.

Mobile devices often have weaker security than desktop computers, making them easier targets for phishing attacks.

Overall, it’s important to be aware of the latest trends in phishing and take steps to protect yourself from these sophisticated attacks.

Be sure to stay up-to-date on security best practices and consider using an anti-phishing tool to help protect your business and data.

Strategies for Preventing and Mitigating Phishing Threats

While it is impossible to completely eliminate phishing risk, there are several strategies that organizations can use to greatly reduce their chances of falling victim to a successful attack.

One of the best ways for an organization to protect its employees from phishing scams is to impose strict policies and procedures regarding the handling of sensitive information.

This should include educational programs that teach employees to recognize the signs of a phishing attack, as well as the steps they can take to avoid being duped into providing their credentials or other confidential data.

Organizations should have a clear policy in place for reporting suspicious emails, including a designated point of contact to reach out to in the event that an employee suspects they may have received a phishing email.

In addition to enforcing internal policies, organizations should also take steps to protect their networks from external threats.

This can be accomplished through the use of spam filtering and firewalls.

These tools can help detect malicious emails before they can reach the inbox of an employee, as well as block malicious websites from being accessed by employees on the network.

Organizations should also consider disabling email links within emails, which will prevent users from accidentally clicking a link that could lead to a malicious website or download malware.

Finally, organizations should deploy multi-factor authentication (MFA) whenever possible.

MFA requires users to provide two or more pieces of authentication information in order to access a system or network, greatly reducing the chances that an attacker can gain access by phishing for credentials.

In addition to providing additional security, MFA also makes it more difficult for attackers to launch automated phishing campaigns, as they must have access to multiple pieces of authentication information in order to successfully execute an attack.

While no security measures can guarantee 100% protection against phishing scams, following these best practices will help protect an organization from the vast majority of attacks.

Final Thought

Phishing attacks are growing more sophisticated and persistent every day. Companies of all sizes must take adequate measures to protect their data from phishers who have malicious intentions.

It’s important for organizations to be aware of the various types of phishing techniques, such as spear-phishing, ransomware, and smishing so that they can train employees on how to identify them and respond appropriately if an attack is detected.

Companies should invest in anti-phishing software solutions that monitor emails and online communications for suspicious activity.

By staying informed about new developments in cyber security threats and taking proactive steps towards protecting your business against these attacks, you will ensure a secure digital environment for yourself and your customers alike.

  • How To Check If Something Was Written with AI

OpenAI’s ChatGPT is an increasingly sophisticated artificial intelligence language model, making it harder to tell its writings apart from those of humans. You can still know if you’re talking to ChatGPT or a real person thanks to a few telltale signals.

Some hints on how to spot OpenAI’s ChatGPT output are as follows:

    1. Focus on How Quickly You Can Respond

ChatGPT’s output can be detected quickly by timing the responses. Because of its immediate nature, ChatGPT is ideal for real-time communication. As a result, if you send a message and it’s answered within a few seconds, it’s likely that you’re communicating with ChatGPT and not a real person.

    2. Examine the Verbal Habits

ChatGPT’s output can also be detected by examining the conversation’s tenor and vocabulary. The vocabulary of ChatGPT is more formal, and the tone is usually flat and emotionless. But, humans tend to respond with more informal language and a greater display of character.

    3. Check for Word Repeats

Although ChatGPT is taught to avoid monotony by recycling comments, it does have a restricted vocabulary and may utilise the same responses repeatedly. Repeated use of the same phrase is a telltale sign that you’re conversing with ChatGPT and not a real person.

    4. Edit for Typos and Grammatical Errors

Although ChatGPT is remarkably precise in its spelling and punctuation, it is not perfect. It’s likely that you’re interacting with ChatGPT if you encounter spelling or grammar errors that are too bizarre for human writers to have made.

    5. Put it to the test by asking questions that aren’t in its Knowledge

ChatGPT can access a wealth of data, but it can only truly understand and use the information it has been taught. ChatGPT may give you a generic response or not respond at all if you pose a question that is outside of its sphere of expertise. Yet humans might be able to give a more nuanced or individualised answer.

Tools for detecting OpenAI’s ChatGPT Output

You can determine if you are speaking to a real person or ChatGPT by consulting one of the many online sites that are available to you. The following is a list of some of the finest places to use the ChatGPT output that is provided by OpenAI for detection:

    1. Botometer

The Botometer is a piece of software that analyses Twitter profiles to determine whether or not it is more likely that the profiles are handled by bots or human individuals. The programme may analyse the account’s history, posts, and information with the assistance of machine learning techniques in order to determine whether or not the account in question is controlled by a bot. Even while Botometer wasn’t designed with the capability of detecting ChatGPT output in mind, it is still possible to utilise it to locate accounts that have a high probability of being bots.

    2. Talk to Transformer

Visit from the Transformer Communication If you want to interact with OpenAI’s ChatGPT language model, you can do so by speaking to Transformer over the web. Asking it a question or providing it with a hint is all that is required to elicit an intelligent response from it, drawing on the knowledge that it has acquired. You can determine whether a response was produced by ChatGPT or a human by using the toggle option on the site, which displays either human-written or machine-generated responses, depending on your preference.

    3. Hugging Face’s DALL-E Explorer

The DALL-E language model developed by OpenAI is capable of visually representing written descriptions. Hugging Face’s DALL-E Explorer allows a user to provide a written description, and then it will produce an image based on that description. You may determine whether a description was made by ChatGPT or a human by using the toggle feature on the website. This feature gives you the option to select from machine-made or human-made descriptions.

    4. AI Dungeon

AI Dungeon is a text-based interactive story that is driven by OpenAI’s ChatGPT language model. The story is told in its entirety through the use of text. While your character moves through a digital world, you can utilise ChatGPT to produce reactions to the actions and commands you give them. Yet, it is easy to discern when ChatGPT is the one supplying content because its responses are less original and more formulaic than those of a human game master. This is despite the fact that the game is designed to be engaging and interactive for players.

    5. GPT-3 Sandbox

Developers that are interested in experimenting with OpenAI’s ChatGPT language model can do so in the GPT-3 Sandbox. The website includes a code editor, an interface for live chat, and a generator for producing new datasets, all of which are designed to make working with the model easier. Even though programmers make up its major target demographic, the site can also be utilised to examine ChatGPT’s output in order to determine whether or not it is actually producing content.

Although while it might be difficult to distinguish between talking to a real person and talking to OpenAI’s ChatGPT, there are a lot of resources available online that might help you do so. You will be able to defend yourself from fraudulent information generated by bots and check the legitimacy of the information with which you are engaging thanks to these approaches.

OpenAI launches ChatGPT-4: Here is all you should know

After a lot of news and a lot of experiments, OpenAI has launched ChatGPT4. OpenAI has announced GPT-4: the latest in its line of AI language models that power applications like ChatGPT and the new Bing.

Let’s now say a goodbye to ChatGPT and welcome ChatGPT-4, an even more powerful tool, sure to send even bigger ripples across the world.

Everyone using ChatGPT knows its limitations. It has always been talked about and criticised for its incorrect answers, showing bias and many times for its hilarious answers. There are arguments that it is only good on the information that it has been trained on. OpenAI says it has spent the past six months making the new software safer. It claims ChatGPT-4 is more accurate, creative and collaborative than the previous iteration, ChatGPT-3.5, and “40% more likely” to produce factual responses.

OpenAI says it has spent the past six months making the new software safer. It claims ChatGPT-4 is more accurate, creative and collaborative than the previous iteration, ChatGPT-3.5, and “40% more likely” to produce factual responses”. OpenAI says it’s already partnered with a number of companies to integrate GPT-4 into their products, including Duolingo, Stripe, and Khan Academy. The new model is available to everyone via ChatGPT Plus, OpenAI’s $20 monthly ChatGPT subscription, and is powering Microsoft’s Bing chatbot. It will also be accessible as an API for developers to build on.

What makes it different from ChatGPT?

One of ChatGPT-4’s most sparkling new features is the ability to handle not only words but pictures too, in what is being called “multimodal” technology. A user will have the ability to submit a picture alongside text — both of which ChatGPT-4 will be able to process and discuss and then respond. The ability to input video is also on the horizon. OpenAI says it is

‘more creative, and able to handle much more nuanced instructions’

Also, ChatGPT-4 is also trained in Indian languages. This could technically mean that users may soon be able to ask a GPT-4-powered bot, such as ChatGPT Plus, questions in local languages, and get an answer. However, it is not yet clear if the responses would be offered in the local languages too, or in English only.

They say it is 82% less likely to respond to requests for disallowed content and 40% more likely to produce factual responses than GPT-3.5. To give an example of how smart it is, OpenAI said that GPT-4 could clear the US law exam in the 90th percentile (i.e. by scoring among the top 10 percent students), and score in the 99th percentile in a US Biology olympiad (i.e. by scoring among the top 1 percent). In comparison, ChatGPT with GPT-3.5 could only score 10th percentile and 31st percentile in the two exams, respectively.

    Limitations of ChatGPT-4?

Like its predecessor, ChatGPT-4 isn’t too hot of the press at reasoning on current events, given that it was trained on data that existed before 2021. OpenAI said in a blog post that the latest iteration “still has many known limitations that we are working to address, such as social biases, hallucinations, and adversarial prompts.” Morgan Stanley is using it to organize wealth management data, payment company Stripe Inc. is testing to see whether it can help combat fraud, and language-learning app Duolingo is incorporating it to explain mistakes and to allow users to practice real-world conversation.
GPT-4, launched on March 14th, is the successor to GPT-3. According to OpenAI, it can process up to 25,000 words, which is about eight times more than GPT-3. Additionally, it can process images and handle more nuanced instructions than GPT-3.5.

    How can you access ChatGPT-4?

If you’re new to ChatGPT, the first thing to do is visit chat.openai.com. You can create a free account that grants you access to GPT-3, the current version available to everyone.

To use GPT-4, however, you’ll need to subscribe to ChatGPT Plus, which costs $20 per month and provides premium access to the service. Currently, there’s a limit of 100 messages every four hours when using GPT-4. OpenAI has not yet provided a timeline for when the update might be available to everyone.

What are the new capabilities of GPT-4?

OpenAI assumes that GPT-4 is good at tasks requiring advanced thinking, understanding of complex instructions, and creativity. People have already started using it for different creative tasks since it was launched a few hours ago. GPT-4 can process images, meaning users can upload photos and get recommendations from GPT-4 based on the image.

Now you can describe images, and generate recipes, code video games, create websites, and create a functional Chrome extension in just a few hours.

    What is the next thing?

Microsoft Corp. has pledged $10 billion to OpenAI, but other tech companies also threw their hats in the ring in AI. Google has introduced its own AI service, Bard, to testers, and numerous startups are also endeavouring to keep up with the pace of AI development. In China, Baidu Inc. is set to launch its own bot, Ernie, while Meituan, Alibaba, and other smaller companies are also entering the fray.

    Safety measures

OpenAI also detailed that it has focused on safety with the new GPT-4 model. As part of its release, the company specially mentioned that while there could still be issues around AI bias, safety, and accuracy of information, they have worked with over 50 AI safety experts to vet the responses that GPT-4 will produce. However, whether this could actually work or not will remain to be seen as more users gain access to GPT-4.

21 applications of NFTs you wish you already knew (Part 1)

Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) have rapidly emerged as a revolutionary technology that has taken the digital world by storm. NFTs are unique digital assets that are stored on a blockchain, making them verifiable and unalterable.

    Inception of NFTs

Since their creation in 2017, NFTs have seen exponential growth and have become a popular topic in the world of technology, art, and finance. NFTs have the technology to revolutionize everything from art, to real estate and even restaurants! They have opened up new opportunities for creators, collectors, and investors, and have given rise to a wide range of innovative applications.

Before I share with you 21 different applications and use cases for NFTs, let’s have a quick look back at what makes this particular product of blockchain technology very different and special.

    NFTs, what makes you special?

Any blockchain expert will tell you that NFTs are unique and non-replicable in nature. But what does that mean exactly?

Unlike cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin or Ethereum, which are fungible and interchangeable, each NFT is one-of-a-kind and cannot be replicated. Since NFTs are created using blockchain technology, there is a secure and transparent way to verify ownership and authenticity.

This means that NFTs can be used to represent anything that is unique and has value. NFTs allow creators and owners to monetize and transfer their assets in a way that was previously impossible in the digital world.

Additionally, NFTs enable greater transparency and traceability, making it easier to track the ownership and provenance of digital assets. Overall, the uniqueness and verifiability of NFTs make them a powerful tool for creators, collectors, and investors alike.

Now let’s finally get to the good stuff… here are 25 different ways NFTs can prove to be so much more useful than traditional digital product counterparts.

21 applications of NFTs you wish you knew

Disclaimer: This is for educational purposes only. Many of these NFT applications have been mentioned owing to the surprising monetary boom in the underlying asset value. This neither tries to guarantee a definite value add in creating/purchasing said NFTs nor does it encourage spending money on them.

    • Digital art – NFTs are being used to authenticate digital art, allowing artists to sell their works as unique, one-of-a-kind pieces. Digital paintings with secured ownership allow artists to enjoy worry-free authenticity. Also sells like hotcakes! In 2021, a VC bought one of Beeple’s, a digital artist’s, NFT for a whopping $60M!!! This is what started the wave of NFT paintings with crazy high valuations.
Beeple’s digital art sold for $69Milllion
    • Music rights – NFTs are being used to represent ownership of music rights, allowing artists to sell their music and retain control over how it is used. The new dynamic between fans and artists has been made possible by music NFT companies, who are fueling the transition with innovative new types of tokens that can be bought, sold, and traded online. Music NFTs allow fans to own portions of a song’s royalties, iconic memorabilia, or even access to digital concerts. Some examples of companies catering to these music NFTS include Dibbs, Unchained Music, and Royal
    • Event tickets – NFTs are being used to represent event tickets, allowing organizers to prevent fraud and scalping. Create your own set of digital event tickets in the form of NFTs to easily distribute and engage your audience. Companies such as Oveit and Seatlab are ticketing marketplaces that transform the way you sell and buy experiences in events, tourism, and leisure
    • Tweets – Jack Dorsey, the former CEO of Twitter converted his first tweet into an NFT and sold it for a staggering $2.9M. When will you be converting your Tweets into NFTs then?
    Image: Twitter
    • Exclusive access – NFTs can also be used to access exclusive content! For example, Quentin Tarantino, a renowned director of Pulp Fiction and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, created TarantinoNFTs where fans have a chance to truly own a piece of his movie, Pulp Fiction, with exclusive scripts and audio clips from Tarantino!
    • College Diplomas – What is a college diploma? It is, after all, a unique identification for your college degree that says that you have earned enough credits to call yourself a graduate of that college, right? Well, guess what? NFTs can now be made into college diplomas! Companies like Degreecert and Blockcert are working towards minting NFTs for college degrees and course certifications. As part of a pilot program, a cohort of 111 graduates from MIT has become the first to have the option to receive their diplomas via a Blockcerts Wallet. The degree will forever be present in their blockchain network. This also ensures authenticity to the degree holder and security to the university as they cannot be tampered with or faked. It’s easy to create, secure, and share!
    • Online domains – NFTs are being used to represent ownership of domain names, allowing individuals to buy and sell unique online identities. Yes, this means that you can even mint a domain in your name, and own it for the rest of your life. Domain provision companies like Ionos and Unstoppable Domains are leading the way to a new generation of domain ownership on the internet,
    • Collectibles – The uniqueness of each NFT allows for the creation of Collectibles. Since each NFT is unique and traceable, creators can design collectibles that can, well, be collected by followers. McLaren Racing has created the McLaren Racing Collective to do just that! McLaren has launched the McLaren Racing Collective where a digital version of all McLaren F1 racing car parts was created as NFTs in limited quantities and auctioned off. The first person to collect all the parts wins an all-expense-paid trip to a Grand Prix!
Image: McLaren Racing Collective NFT drop
    • Virtual Real Estate – NFTs are being used to represent virtual real estate in games and virtual worlds, allowing players to buy and sell virtual property. Decentraland has created a metaverse where you can buy and sell virtual land! This virtual land comes with land deeds that are essentially NFTs. The uniqueness and immutability of such NFTs make them a great tool to create and verify ownership. Why would someone buy this you ask? Simply because this land will be yours forever and that entices people. One piece of land on Decentraland sold for a record $2.4 million worth of MANA (Decentraland coins)!
    • Real estate – NFTs are used to represent ownership of the physical real estate, allowing for fractional ownership and easier transfers. Companies like Propy are using Web3 technologies like NFTs to make buying and selling real estate properties seamless. But how is this different from the previous Virtual Real Estate you ask? The simple difference is that, here, the NFTs are actually unique deeds for a physical slice of real estate where someone can actually live… whereas in virtual real estate, it is only in digital form and does not have any tangible benefits.

Lookout for the next post where we cover 11 more applications of NFTs that you wish you already knew!

It’s also important to be aware that these are just a few examples of the many ways in which NFTs are being used today. As technology continues to evolve, we can expect to see even more innovative applications in the future.

So it’s quite clear that NFTs can become huge in the near future – but with that being said, it is the underlying blockchain technology that makes NFTs so unique and valuable. While some (or many) of these applications may not sustain in the future, many more alternatives are bound to pop up with better ways to leverage the features of blockchain and NFTs.

I hope you look forward to the second part of this post as we explore 11 more surprising applications of NFTs!

OpenAI unveils ZeroGPT: A tool to recognise texts written by AI

OpenAI, after ChatGPT, has launched ZeroGPT. It detects whether the text has been written by an AI programme and passed off as human-written, or it was actually written by a person.

ChatGPT is now used almost worldwide because of its unmatched capabilities and extreme usefulness. Not only ChatGPT but many other AI tools are being used for content generation, human creativity has almost come to end and because of this, the future looks scary. Soon, there will be a time when AI and tools will replace humans and will do things better and faster. The results also would be very efficient and perfect. Humans, should know the limits and make sure to use AI as a helper and not as the ultimate worker. The tools should be used for idea generation and at places, can be used in an emergency. But this shall not result in making it a habit to use it everywhere.

It has become very important now to make sure that AI is not being used in excess. So, noticing this issue, OpenAI has launched ZeroGPT, a tool which detects if the text is written by any AI programme or is freshly crafted by a human.

    How Does ZeroGPT work?

According to OpenAI, Once you enter the text in the box and then click on the “Detect Text” button to get started. We will start analysing your text with a series of complex and deep algorithms. These algorithms are developed by ZeroGPT’s team and they are backed by our in-house experiments and some highly reputable papers already published.

Then we will show you the result as follow:

    – Your text is Human written

    – Your text is AI/GPT Generated

    – Most of Your text is AI/GPT Generated

    – Your text is Most Likely AI/GPT generated

    – Your text is Likely generated by AI/GPT

    – Your text contains mixed signals, with some parts generated by AI/GPT

    – Your text is Likely Human written and may include parts generated by AI/GPT

    – Your text is Most Likely Human written and may include parts generated by AI/GPT

    – Your text is Most Likely Human written

And a gauge with the percentage of the AI/GPT plagiarized text will be displayed for a more detailed result.

    What is the accuracy rate?

OenAI says, after analysing more than 10M articles and text, some generated by AI and others written by humans, we developed ZeroGPT’s algorithm with an accuracy rate of text detection higher than 98%. Our AI text detector tool uses DeepAnalyse™ Technology to identify the origin of your text.

Our experiments are still ongoing, and our aim is to analyse more than 1B articles and text and to converge to an error rate lower than 1%.

Students, teachers, educators, writers, employees, freelancers, copywriters and everyone on earth may find ZeroGPT a very useful solution to detect AI output text. As the use of AI, especially ChatGPT has increased a lot, as almost everyone is using it without limits, it was important for everyone to know, to recognize whether the content is the generation of any AI tool or not. There were a lot of news articles that showed how AI is being used in excess. A lot of news is covered showing how students are misusing AI for completing their homework or assignments. This is an outburst of technology that has made everything so easy for everyone. Sometimes it is very helpful and results in an effective and efficient way but in return are killing creativity and potential for working by themselves.

OpenAI says that the data that has been uploaded to check will not be saved anywhere as they believe the privacy of the users is their priority. It will not even be plagiarized or be made available online and they will not use the user’s text to train their AI detection model.

How can I integrate the ZeroGPT tool into my organization or website on a large scale?

If you are a company, a university or educational institution, an organization, or a writing or content creation agency, you can contact the company via email using the link to discuss in detail your needs and how you can integrate ZeroGPT into your organization. OpenAI provides access to the private API through Paid Professional plans customized based on the client’s needs.

Does ZeroGPT work with different languages?

As ZeroGPT has worldwide usage with multilingual users. It detects AI text output in all the available languages.

As AI has become a trending topic all over the world and people are using it for insane causes, misuse of AI has increased. There are a lot of wicked minds who are using AI for evil purposes. Many wrong things like sextortion, AI terrorism, etc. have given birth to a lot of problems in society. OpenAI has launched a perfect tool at a perfect time that will help a lot of people to detect the use of AI.

  • The collapse of Silicon Valley Bank and the start of banking crisis

    0

Around 40 years back, Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) was born in the heart of a region known for its technological prowess and savvy decision-making. The organisation with headquarters in California grew to become the 16th largest bank in the US, catering for the financial needs of technology companies around the world, before a series of ill-fated investment decisions led to its collapse.

What happened to Silicon Valley bank?

As it is the most preferred bank for the tech sector, throughout the pandemic the services were in a lot of demand. The initial market shock of Covid-19 in early 2020 gave way to a shining period for startups and established tech companies, as consumers spent a lot on gadgets and digital services.

Many tech companies used SVB to hold the cash they used for payroll and other business expenses, leading to a stream of deposits. The bank invested a large portion of the deposits, as banks do. Its demise was predicted when it invested heavily in long-dated US government bonds, including those backed by mortgages.

However, bonds have a counter connection with interest rates; when rates rise, bond prices fall. So when the Federal Reserve started to hoist rates rapidly to obstruct inflation, SVB’s bond portfolio started to lose consequential value. If SVB were able to hold those bonds for a number of years until they mature, then it would receive its capital back. But, as economic conditions embittered over the last year, with tech companies affected particularly, many of the bank’s customers started drawing on their deposits. SVB didn’t have enough cash on hand, and so it started selling some of its bonds at steep losses, scaring investors and customers. It took just 48 hours between the time it disclosed that it had sold the assets and its collapse.

SVB’s problems raise from its earlier investment decisions, the run was triggered on 8 March, when it announced a $1.75bn capital raising. It told its investors it needed to plug a hole caused by the sale of its loss-making bond portfolio.

“Suddenly everyone became alarmed that the bank was short of capital”

says Fariborz Moshirian, professor at UNSW and director of the Institute of Global Finance.

Customers were now aware of the deep financial problems at SVB, and started withdrawing money in mass. Unlike a retail bank that serves for business and households, SVB’s clients tended to have much larger accounts. This meant the bank run was hasty. Just two days after it announced it would raise capital, the US$200bn company collapsed, witnessing the largest bank failure in the US since the global financial crisis.

“I recognize the past few days have been an extremely challenging time for our clients and our employees, and we are grateful for the support of the amazing community we serve”

said Mayopoulos, a former CEO of federal mortgage finance firm Fannie Mae who was appointed by the FDIC to run SVB.

Has this resulted in the start of banking Crisis?

Financial futures, which enables investors to theorise on future price movements, rallied for the US technology sector in response to the guarantees. There had been concerns that if that guarantee wasn’t administered, SVB account holders would not have been able to pay employees, sending crease through the economy.

“In terms of stability, they’ve avoided supply chain consequences”

    says Moshirian.

Governments and regulators around the world, including in the UK and Australia, are scanning for SVB exposure in their corporate and banking sectors. The longer term questions is whether SVB’s vulnerability to increasing interest rates is to keep case with other banks through an over-exposure to falling bond prices.

While Moshirian says he doesn’t think the banking system is about to unravel, he notes that people initially also felt that the sub-prime mortgage crisis was restrained. That went on to flicker the global financial crisis.

To counter the risk, the Federal Reserve has unveiled a new program that allows banks to borrow funds backed by government securities to meet demands from deposit customers. This is designed to prevent banks from being forced to sell government bonds, for example, that have been losing value due to rising rates.

There are, however, more immediate concerns for the technology sector. SVB served Silicon Valley, backing startups and other technology companies that traditional banks might inhibited away from. Recently, the sector has been cutting staff as economic conditions deteriorate.

    The effects on interest rates

Almost all central banks around the world have been increasing rates over the past year to subdue high inflation, with the US moving from near zero to more than 4.5% at a swift pace. Most forecasters expect the rates to rise in the US, UK and Australia, before endowing. The appetite to keep raising rates will now be checked if central banks get bothered that SVB’s problems are indicative of a broader weakness in corporate balance sheets caused by the increase in rates.

India Introduces Cryptocurrency-Specific Anti-Money Laundering Measures

Anti-money-laundering regulations pertaining to cryptocurrencies and other virtual assets have been implemented by the government as part of an effort to increase the government’s level of control over virtual assets.

The Ministry of Finance made the announcement in the official gazette that anti-money laundering legislation will now apply to the trading of cryptocurrencies, the safeguarding of cryptocurrency, and linked financial services. When this date has passed, cryptocurrency exchanges in India will be compelled to report any suspicious trading activity to the Financial Intelligence Unit of the country (FIU-IND).

This modification is in line with the growing movement towards regulating digital asset platforms in the same stringent manner as traditional financial institutions such as banks and stock exchanges in order to prevent the laundering of illicit financial funds.

In recent years, NFTs (non-fungible tokens) and other types of digital currency and assets have been gaining popularity all over the world. This trend is expected to continue. The establishment of cryptocurrency exchanges has resulted in a significant increase in the volume of trade that takes place in these assets. But, up until just one year ago, India did not have a unified plan for taxing or regulating the types of investments being discussed here.

What does the law actually state?

India’s finance ministry has announced that crypto transactions will be covered under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (PMLA). Noting that the move “is a positive step in recognizing the sector,” a crypto insider explained that it will strengthen the industry’s efforts to prevent virtual digital assets “from being misused by bad actors.”

India has made significant strides towards bolstering regulation of the digital asset market by expanding the purview of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002 to include bitcoin trading, custody, and other financial services. These steps were taken in an effort to strengthen regulation of the digital asset market.

On March 7, 2023, the government published a notice in the gazette that required VDA and crypto exchange intermediaries to conduct know your customer (KYC) checks on their customers and platform users. In addition, it is mandatory for these organisations to report any potentially illegal behaviour to the Financial Intelligence Unit of India (FIU-IND).

This comes after India’s finance minister, Nirmala Sitharaman, recently announced that her country and the other G-20 nations were debating the necessity for standard operating procedures to control crypto assets. This development comes as a direct result of her previous statement. Sitharaman asserted that Web 3.0 and cryptocurrency assets were still in their infancy and that widespread international collaboration would be extremely beneficial to the development of both of these areas.

In recent years, there has been a rise in interest in non-fungible tokens, often known as NFTs, along with other varieties of digital currency. Since the establishment of the first bitcoin exchanges, the total amount of transactions has significantly expanded. In spite of this, India did not have a comprehensive strategy for regulating or taxing these many types of assets until just this year.

According to the notification, the following activities are prohibited: “Participation in and provision of financial services related to an issuer’s offer and sale of a virtual digital asset; exchange between one or more forms of virtual digital assets; transfer of virtual digital assets; safekeeping or administration of virtual digital assets or instruments enabling control over virtual digital assets.”

Any code, integer, or token generated by cryptographic processes that claimed or purported to have an underlying value was referred to as a “virtual digital asset,” and the term “virtual digital asset” was used to characterise it.

According to a remark made by India’s Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in front of Parliament one month ago, the country was having discussions with other G-20 nations about the necessity of adopting a uniform operating mechanism for regulating crypto assets.

The reaction of cryptocurrency exchanges to this shift

The cryptocurrency business in India, on the other hand, has a positive outlook following the most recent announcement issued by the Central government. According to crypto specialists, the implementation of such restrictions would put an end to activities such as money laundering and other illegal use of the technology.
This notification will assist in the development of more openness within the ecosystem, which will serve to promote the India VDA sector. Ashish Singhal, the current CEO and co-founder of CoinSwitch, feels that this will also assist in the development of a common standard across all VDA platforms in India.

The most recent action taken by the government of India is symptomatic of the fact that governments all over the world are understanding the need for clear rules and are seeking to protect the interests of crypto investors. This was demonstrated by the fact that governments in India have taken action.

What does the experts have to say

The move has been praised by several professionals in the field since the announcement was made public. ‘It demands entities dealing in crypto to follow KYC, anti-money laundering standards, and due diligence as followed by banking and other financial entities which fall under the classification of reporting entities under PMLA,’ said Sharat Chandra, Co-Founder of the India Blockchain Forum.

Dark Side of AI Art: Deepfake, Child Pornography and Sextortion

Artificial intelligence is quickly gaining popularity because of its extreme usefulness and its unmatchable capabilities. AI in almost every field has started influencing people and is turning out to be a blessing. It saves time and delivers proper and excellent results. AI is providing easiness at no cost and that is the reason it is gaining immense popularity all over the globe. AI in art has been helping a lot of users and is creating better art like a professional in just a few clicks.

In the twenty-first century, artificial intelligence is an extremely disruptive innovation that has attracted considerable attention from practitioners and academics. AI provides extensive, and unprecedented opportunities for fundamental changes and extensive elevation across many industries. This disruptive technology makes incredible things possible, such as autonomous vehicles, facial recognition payments, guidance robots, etc.

Extensive attention is paid to the positive aspects of AI, while the dark sides of AI are receiving relatively little attention. AI is reportedly also used for various dark purposes. This utilization of AI might be a threat and danger to the world. Many people have actually started using AI for their wicked purposes and this has already made people believe that the future of AI might be scary. Even, on this concern, Elon Musk had stated his thoughts. He believes AI is the biggest existential threat to humanity. He believes if AI is not used properly can result in destruction.

Artificial intelligence Art is one of the most disturbing aspects. The capacities of AI art generators have grown too much in the past couple of years. Through complex algorithms, AI scans the internet and manages to make artistic composites, some sublime, others grotesque. Today, AI art generators have incredible potential, but their capacities can also be easily abused.

Many people are worried that AI image generators can and will easily create Child Pornography. It has no boundaries. It also encourages the worst human depravity. AI, day by day, is getting better at generating porn. Recently, there were many cases of deep fakes reported. Most of the deep fake sites have veered away from hosting this type of content, understandable due to the dangerous attention it could bring itself. Anyone with access to images of a victim’s face can create realistic-looking explicit content with an AI-generated body. Incidents of harassment and extortion are likely to rise, abuse experts say, as bad actors use AI models to humiliate targets ranging from celebrities to ex-girlfriends and even children. One such example is the exploitation of AI in the creation of pornography and sextortion. Sextortion is defined as the use of sexual images, videos, or information to extort money or other items from the victim. AI images are commonly used to extort victims for real photos

    What is Sextortion?

Generally, ‘sextorters’ know how to invoke a fear in the victim. They might show the images or a screenshot of a specifically explicit conversation. Later, they often take off the victim’s social media accounts to find out about their near ones. In other words, they will let the victim know they can destroy their reputation at any moment, even though that’s often a lie. AI art is helping evil minds that practise sextortion in many ways. It helps people to create fake chats, generate false information about the person and makes it seem original. Many people believe these images are true and the victim gets in a worse position. This resulted in many suicide cases all around the world. There are many news and events reported about Sextortion and the cases are increasing day by day.

    What is Deepfake?

The term “deepfake” refers to an AI-based technique that synthesizes media. This includes super-imposing human features on another person’s body or manipulating sounds to generate a real human experience. Recently, the “deepfake” technology used to Photoshop a celebrity’s head on a porn actor’s body has been around for a while, but recent advances have made it much harder to detect. There was news trending that the streaming community was rocked by a headline that links back to the misuse of generative AI. Popular Twitch streamer Atrioc issued an apology video, teary-eyed, after being caught viewing pornography with the superimposed faces of other women streamers.

Also, the generative AI app Lensa came into notice for allowing its system to create fully nude and hyper-sexualised images from users’ headshots. Controversially, it also whitened the skin of women of colour and made their features more European.

The technology to create deepfakes has existed for some time, AI-powered or otherwise. A 2020 report from deepfake detection company Sensity found that hundreds of explicit deepfake videos that featuring female celebrities were being uploaded to the world’s biggest pornography websites almost every month; the report estimated the total number of deepfakes online at around 49,000, over 95% of which were porn. Actresses including Emma Watson, Natalie Portman, Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift have been the targets of deepfakes since AI-powered face-swapping tools entered the game several years ago, and some, including Kristen Bell, have spoken out against what they view as sexual exploitation.

Increase in cases of Child Pornography

Paedophiles are using artificial intelligence (AI) to create indecent images of child abuse. Abusers are reportedly using AI text-to-image generators and deep fake technology to add the faces of real children onto computer-generated bodies. The amount of child abuse imagery found online is concerning; every year industry detects and reports an increasing number of illegal images. AI-generated pornography which features the faces of non-consenting individuals is becoming increasingly common online.

Britain’s National Crime Agency has conducted a review of how AI technology can contribute to sexual exploitation after the recent arrest of a paedophile computer programmer in Spain shocked the continent. The man had been found to be utilizing an AI image generator to create new child sexual abuse material (CSAM) based on abusive images of children that he already possessed.

The normalization of AI-created pornography or child sexual abuse content does not serve beneficial purpose in society, and, in fact, can influence cultural mores in profoundly harmful ways. Having the technological capability to manufacture AI-generated CSAM has emboldened paedophile sympathisers to advocate for their inclusion in the liberal structure of sexual orientations. Pornography of any kind is inherently exploitative, the pornography industry thrives off dubious consent and, often, knowing exploitation of trafficking victims and minors. Using AI technology to create images or videos that constitute pornography or child sexual abuse material perpetuates a chain of abuse even if the new content generated is different from abuse that physically occurred.

AI-generated porn or CSAM cannot circumvent the ultimate violations against our human dignity caused by creating exploitative sexual content. Modern nations need laws that appropriately address modern concerns; while the upgradation of AI technology can, in some ways, certainly benefit society, its capability to produce exploitative content and allow the rot of paedophilia continue festering must be addressed.

How AI is revolutionizing porn, but at a dangerous cost

AI is disrupting the world today

Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the world we live in today. With the ability to learn, reason, and make decisions, AI is revolutionizing the way we think about technology and its impact on our society. As AI continues to advance and become more sophisticated, it is opening up new opportunities and challenges for businesses, governments, and individuals.

This disruption is already felt across a wide range of industries.

In healthcare, AI is being used to improve the accuracy of medical diagnoses, accelerate drug discovery, and personalize patient care.

In finance, AI is transforming the way financial services are delivered, from fraud detection and risk management to trading and investment advice.

In transportation, AI is driving the development of autonomous vehicles and improving traffic management systems.

In entertainment, AI creates new forms of interactive storytelling and personalized content recommendations.

However, the rapid pace of AI innovation also raises important questions about its impact on our society. Concerns range from job displacement and income inequality to privacy and security risks. There is also a need to address AI’s ethical and legal implications, including bias, accountability, and transparency.

But one of the most affected, and yet, least spoken about industries that AI is leveraged in is the Porn industry. How exactly does porn benefit from AI? And what implications does this have for porn content creators and consumers?

    Let’s find out.

    How porn is leveraging AI

The porn industry has been quite receptive to AI technology. Aside from porn content, AI has been quite helpful for porn’s various business applications, such as content recommendation systems, search algorithms, and marketing strategies.

    1. Personalized Content Recommendations
    2. Improved Search Algorithms
    3. Efficient Video Processing
    4. Marketing Strategies

As you can see, AI has been quite supportive to improve the performance of the porn industry. However, as you read forward, you’ll see why and how AI is looming over the porn industry like a dark cloud.

All this starts with what we call AI Porn.

What is it? How does it affect anything?

    Read on…

    What is AI Porn?

AI porn refers to pornographic content that has been created or manipulated using artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms. This can include videos, images, or audio that have been generated entirely by AI, as well as content that has been edited or altered using AI.

One example of AI-generated porn is virtual reality (VR) porn, which uses AI algorithms to create realistic 3D environments and characters. This allows users to interact with virtual porn actors in a more immersive and interactive way than traditional 2D porn. VR porn typically involves wearing a VR headset that simulates a 3D environment and allows the user to interact with virtual porn actors and scenes.

However, VR Porn was never a significant means of porn consumption until AI became easily accessible. AI has played a role in the development and improvement of VR porn which makes the whole experience from creation to consumption seamless.

Here are a few ways AI has helped VR porn develop.

    1. Realistic Characters and Environments
    2. Adaptive Scenarios
    3. Improved User Interaction
    4. Content Recommendation

While VR porn has been flourishing, there has been another, darker, application of AI that is haunting the porn industry and the members within. This application – as innovative as it may seem – has created a lot of issues with the security, privacy, and, most importantly, the safety of women.

Let’s have a look at deepfakes – a realistic AI algorithm that can swap faces in any image/video of a person.

The ugly truth behind AI Porn – Deepfakes

Deepfakes are causing a problem in the porn industry because they allow for the creation of non-consensual pornographic content, which can be used to harass, blackmail, or harm individuals.

They use AI algorithms to manipulate images or videos, often by swapping the face of a person with someone else’s face. This has raised significant concerns in the porn industry, where deepfakes are often used to create non-consensual pornographic content.

For example, a person’s face might be swapped onto the body of a porn actor without their consent or knowledge, creating a fake pornographic video that can be shared online without their permission. This can be extremely damaging to the individual’s reputation, privacy, and mental health, and can also have legal and social consequences.

Deepfakes can also be used for revenge porn, where a former partner or acquaintance creates a fake pornographic video of someone in order to humiliate or blackmail them. This can be particularly harmful to women, who are disproportionately targeted by revenge porn and deepfakes.

The use of deepfakes in the porn industry raises important ethical and legal issues around consent, privacy, and the potential harm to individuals and society. It is important to develop responsible guidelines and regulations to prevent the creation and distribution of non-consensual pornographic content and to protect the rights and dignity of individuals – we’ll get to this as you read on!

Unfortunately, women are being targeted and threatened using deepfakes. By using innocent faces swapped onto porn footage, they are being used for purposes of blackmail and more.

This is a nightmare for women today!

The use of AI in creating pornographic material has a significant impact on women’s privacy, safety, and well-being. Women are often targeted for cyber harassment and stalking, and the use of AI in creating pornographic material only exacerbates the problem. Moreover, AI porn can lead to increased objectification and dehumanization of women, which can have long-lasting effects on their mental health and self-esteem.

Deepfakes and non-consensual pornography can damage a woman’s reputation and career prospects. Women who are the subject of said deepfakes may face discrimination, harassment, or stigma from employers, colleagues, or others in their community.

Women who are the subject of deepfakes or non-consensual pornography may experience emotional distress, such as anxiety, depression, or trauma. This also can have long-term effects on their mental health and well-being.

In some cases, women who are the subject of deepfakes or non-consensual pornography may face physical threats or violence. This can be particularly concerning for women who are already at risk of domestic violence or stalking.

In many countries, there is a lack of legal protections for women who are the subject of deepfakes or non-consensual pornography. Women may struggle to have the content removed from online platforms or to hold perpetrators accountable for their actions.

Furthermore, AI porn perpetuates harmful stereotypes and reinforces gender inequality. It portrays women as passive sexual objects, reinforcing the notion that women exist for male pleasure. This reinforces the patriarchal norms that underpin gender inequality and contributes to the normalization of sexual violence against women.

How to stay ahead and alert!

Deepfakes have been a tool for predators to target innocent victims. Once someone has been affected by this, it is hard to bounce back to a normal life.

As they say, prevention is better than cure – here are some common ways to stay alert and keep on the lookout:

    1. Be cautious about sharing personal information online
    2. Monitor your online presence
    3. Use privacy settings
    4. Report deepfakes
    5. Seek legal assistance
    6. Stay informed

While the legal challenges posed by deepfakes and non-consensual pornography are complex and require a multi-faceted approach, there are a few things that can be done, however challenging it may be, to ensure the use of deepfakes in non-consensual content is reduced drastically.

    1. Governments can pass laws that specifically criminalize the creation, distribution, and possession of deepfakes that are intended to deceive or harm others.
    2. Victims of deepfakes and non-consensual pornography can pursue civil remedies, such as suing the perpetrator for damages or seeking an injunction to remove the content.
    3. Governments can strengthen existing privacy laws to better protect individuals from the unauthorized use of their images and other personal information.
    4. Social media platforms and other websites can be held accountable for hosting deepfakes and non-consensual pornography by imposing liability for failure to remove such content in a timely manner.
    5. As deepfakes can be created and distributed globally, international cooperation is necessary to address the issue. Countries can work together to share information and coordinate efforts to combat the spread of deepfakes.

The future of AI in the porn industry is uncertain, we can only hope that innocent bystanders are protected and laws need to be enacted to keep everyone safe. While AI is flourishing in popularity and support, its use and extent need to be carefully monitored.

Parul Gulati, attracts Shark Tank judges with Rs. 1 Crore investment

Sharks Vineeta Singh and Aman Gupta offered her Rs 1 crore for 3 per cent in equity. It was followed by Amit Jain`s offer of Rs 1 crore for 2 per cent of the equity.

The Indian adaptation of Shark Tank is about to enter the final week of its second season, which means the show’s conclusion is getting near. As the season continued, the Sharks enjoyed listening to a variety of pitches that displayed scientific curiosity and inventiveness. This kept them entertained. There were even a handful that had plans for companies that would “bootstrap,” which left the Sharks wondering how bright the businesses were.

As the final week of Shark Tank India draws near, fans will be treated to a number of brand-new pitches that have never been featured on the show before. These new pitches will be presented to the sharks during the final week. One of the pitches that has been successful is called Nish Hair, and it was presented by actor Parul Gulati. In the sneak peek that was just revealed, Parul gives the Sharks a pitch for her product, and they are appropriately impressed by it.

Glamour’s Parul gulati spotted on Shark Tank

Nish Hair, owned and operated by Parul Gulati, is a business that specialises in the sale of hair extensions to individuals who are going through the process of being bald. Her presentation left a positive impression on the Sharks, but online reviewers were not as enthusiastic. Immediately after the teaser was made available to the public, viewers left comments asking why the “Sharks” never invest in fledgling businesses who are having trouble getting off the ground.

A user on the internet argued, “Oh my goodness, has she already attained fame and fortune? You should be supportive of new ventures, particularly tiny enterprises just getting their feet off the ground. #sharktankindia You need to level up in terms of your performance.” Someone person who is part of this group stated, “My sincere wish is that we will be able to shine a light on genuine people and real small businesses that are struggling due to a lack of resources, social media fame, and business contacts. It is imperative that we have access to the original, unaltered form.”

Sharks Vineeta singh & Aman gupta offered her Rs 1 crore in exchange for 3% of the company’s equity, which she turned down. After then, Amit Jain made an offer of Rs 1 crore in exchange for 2% of the company’s stock.
But Vineeta and Amit had an argument regarding her business.

I’ve been watching ‘Shark Tank US’ for a while, and I’ve always dreamed of pitching my business ideas to the sharks,” Parul Gulati remarked when discussing her experience on the show. When I first started Nish Hair, I never thought I’d be the one begging for funding. For two reasons: first, I didn’t trust myself, and second, numbers made no sense to me.

I couldn’t believe it when the opportunity to promote my company’s products on “Shark Tank India 2” presented myself. After finishing the first season in one sitting, I secretly hoped I was one of the sharks. It was one of the three best experiences of my life, and I’m glad I decided to compete. Never before have I felt so fresh and alert. “I started my company without going to business school and came up with a great solution that helps people with hair concerns,” Parul Gulati explained.

Sony Entertainment Television is the home of the show.
