JBIMS- Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies in association with Touchwood Advisory and Management is back with the second edition of Touchwood Incubation and Innovation Platforms for Startups (TIIPS) on 19th February 2022.
TIIPS is a platform where startups and budding entrepreneurs get a chance to pitch their innovations in front of angel investors, VCs and mentors. In an attempt to uplift entrepreneurs, this event consists of a power-packed team of organizers and mentors.
We are also extremely delighted to have Ms. Shradha Sharma, Founder and CEO of YourStory Media as the chief guest. A journalist by profession, Shradha Sharma feels that every story is unique and as the guest, she will add a unique touch to this event. It is also an honor to welcome Mr. Abhishek Karnani, Managing Director at Free Press Journal as the guest of honor, of the event which will be held at Jamnalal Bajaj Institute- Incubation Centre.
The event will not only be welcoming several awe-inspiring startups but also a panel of investors who will energize and uplift their spirits. In the second edition, the panel of investors includes Dr. Apoorva Sharma (co-founder of Venture Catalysts and 9Unicorn), Mr. Vikrant Potnis (founder of FundEnable and IAVC), Mr. Uday Wankawala (CEO of Atal Incubation), Mr. Aditya Pathak (associate partner of Product10x), and Mr. Farzan Ghadially (Senator India, World Business Angels Investment Forum).
A good mentor motivates and acts as a role model to their mentee. In this event, we will have the presence of great mentors like Mr. Vishal Agarwal, Managing Director- India of Santa Fe Relocation. This also includes Mr. Arun Sehgal, principal consultant of The Winning Edge, Mrs. Chhaya Sehgal, founder, and CEO of The Winning Edge, and Dr. Sarika Mahajan, Assistant Professor at JBIMS. These mentors will add knowledge and guide the entrepreneurs in the right direction, helping their businesses grow.
TIIPS has joined hands with Free Press Journal as their Media Partner; and HDFC Bank and Bank of Baroda as Banking Partners. Sociobits, an online media company that keeps you informed about what is happening in the world of technology, cryptocurrency, and startups is also a part of the event as their Digital Partner. These partners will allow the startups to expand their network and make meaningful connections.
This event is hosted by Dr. Srinivasan .R Iyengar, Director of JBIMS, Mr. Ganesh Gokhale, Founder of Touchwood Advisory and Management and Mr. Shubh Bansal, Serial Entrepreneur, running ventures into Tech & Media space, Production house, Gaming, Co-founder of Neta G and advisory to multiple startups.
Like the previous edition of TIIPS, this edition will witness many energetic and full-of-life entrepreneurs. These startups will come from diversified domains, INFLUENXING from an influencer marketing background. Exter and JyoSH AI Solutions Pvt Ltd will be introducing themselves from the electric vehicle domain, for a sustainable future. ALISTE Technologies from the IoT domain and Navork Innovations Pvt. Ltd. from the Agritech domain will also be present. To satisfy our taste buds, we have startups like Good Fettle Private Limited and Maas Stores from the food industry.
TIIPS has successfully conducted its first edition on 11th December 2021. This event included enthusiastic and idea-driven startups like Jyppzer Kids, Accelo, Living Things, Robo Bionics, CarBazaar, Postbing, Solstreet Club, PlayboxTV, and NetaG. PlayboxTV also got featured in the first season of Shark Tank India.
During the previous event, Dr. Srinivasan .R Iyengar conveyed that they are committed to helping startups grow by conducting events like TIIPS at national as well as international levels. He also wants to aid them to improve their technology and marketing strategies and provide necessary facilities so they ultimately achieve the success that they desire.
Mr. Ganesh Gokhale is a marketing wiz with more than twenty years of experience in the field. He added, “The overall mission of TIIPS is to focus on making smart introductions for real-life offline interactions between relevant professionals from Startups, Mentors, VCs and Alumni.”
“The leaders of today need to invest in leaders of tomorrow,” said Mr. Shubh Bansal, an entrepreneur, and personality who has played an important role in the creation of TIIPS as a founding member. Mr. Bansal ventures into startups and feels that this is the right time to provide an appropriate platform for startups to present their innovations and give them investment opportunities.
With a like-minded organizing team and equally enthusiastic entrepreneurs, TIIPS has geared for another round of the event and aims to continue encouraging new ideas by helping startups to fulfill their professional goals.
